For more than 30 years, Nikki Smith has been a steady voice behind the radio, serving the Weatherford Police Department and our community with dedication, strength, and a whole lot of heart.

As our Dispatch Supervisor, Nikki has spent decades caring for the people around her. She pours herself into making sure our dispatchers have the knowledge, tools, and encouragement they need to be their very best. She is not someone who simply delegates from the sidelines. Nikki is a doer. Whether the need is big or small, she is always ready to step in, roll up her sleeves, and help.

Nikki’s larger-than-life spirit is known throughout our department and across the Weatherford community. She is honest, outspoken, fiercely loyal, and never shy about showing her love. To know Nikki is to be loved by Nikki, and countless people have felt the impact of her generosity, encouragement, and unwavering support over the years.

Now, Nikki is facing a battle with cancer, and it is our turn to show up for her.

The Weatherford Police & Fire Foundation is hosting a fundraiser to help Nikki and her family with the expenses associated with her treatment and recovery. We hope our community will join us in returning a small portion of the love and care she has so freely given to others for more than three decades.
